Who is Linkesh?

Welcome to the grand opening of the LinkLogBook! If you don’t know who I am, Hello!! I’m Linkesh Jayaram but most people call me Link. I am currently 22 years old at the time of writing this and studying at the University of Melbourne. In my free time, I love to exercise, listen to music, watch movies, and bake/cook. I am a hardcore Pokemon Showdown addict as well. One fun fact about me? I have nearly been murdered quite a few times (one too many times if you ask me 🫠). Yeah, my life is pretty insane because I’m always willing to try something at least once. I’ve had pet spiders and eaten various animal innards, gone bungee jumping and accidentally joined an undercover drug bust. But that’s exactly why I’m writing this blog. I want to document my unique worldview and experience and let you be *cues ariel* part of my world .

Why LinkLogBook?

I’m sure many of you reading this may be wondering, why did Linkesh start a writing blog? To that, Linkesh says: why not? For many years now, many friends (and exes💀) have constantly asked me the same question: “What is going through your mind right now?”. And for years I have eluded the answer because the only way to get into my head is to crack it open and unspool my brain to try and get answers. They all wonder why and how do I think in the specific way that I do. Well, from henceforth you will no longer need to wonder. I decided to crack open my own head and show the musings of my inner world. More often than not, thoughts are constantly running amok in my brain anyway and I find that it helps to write it all down and out to calm myself down. I figure this will also help me to improve my writing skills.

What Kind Of Content Will I Be Posting?

But then you may be asking: What on earth does he have to say that is relevant to me? The truth is, I am indeed a multifaceted and complex creation with a variety of interests, bubbling thoughts and cacophony of existential crises melded into a physical vessel . Here are a few topics I might write about:

• Thoughts on Free Will Vs. Determinism
• We should’ve let the pandas go extinct (no for REAL)
• Why every (business) student should take a philosophy and literature class
• Overseas Experiences/Outlook
• A poem, short story or vlog.
• Pop Culture Phenomenons

Either way, I guarantee you will have a great time as I tie in personal anecdotes to explain complex thoughts or share my personal feelings. Because no one does it like Linkesh does, nor will they ever come close!
